Grocery stores, kiryana shops and marts
POS software for grocery and kiryana stores
TM POS is point-of-sale software for grocery stores, kiryana shops and marts in Pakistan. Cashiers scan barcodes with a USB scanner or a phone camera, and billing keeps working when the internet drops. Behind the counter it tracks stock batches with expiry dates, supplier purchases and each customer's udhaar, in English or Urdu.

How does billing work at a busy grocery counter?
Cashiers scan, take payment and print a thermal receipt. TM POS does the maths, so queues move faster and bills come out right.
- Scan with a USB barcode scanner, or with the camera on a phone or laptop
- Search by name, SKU or barcode, or tap a product by category
- Sell the same product by piece, pack, dozen or carton, each with its own price
- Add a one-off item that is not in stock, like a carry bag
- Take cash, card, JazzCash, EasyPaisa, bank transfer or udhaar
- Give bill discounts that never go below your minimum profit
Can I import my product list and print barcode labels?
Yes. Most shops bring their whole catalogue in from a spreadsheet on the first day.
- Import or update products from Excel or CSV, with a report of any rows that need fixing
- Give a product several barcodes, or let TM POS generate one
- Scan an unknown barcode to create the product with the code already filled in
- Print barcode labels straight to a Zebra or other ZPL label printer
How do I keep shelves stocked without over-buying?
TM POS warns you before items run out and suggests what to order, based on how fast each item sells.
- Low-stock alerts per product, or one level for the whole shop
- Reorder suggestions worked out from recent sales
- Supplier purchases go from draft to review to approved, and stock updates on approval
- Expiry warnings for dairy, bakery and other dated stock
Can regular customers buy on udhaar?
Yes. The cashier picks Udhaar as the payment and sets a due date. Every customer or family has a khata with each bill and payment, and overdue balances appear on the dashboard.
What does the owner see at the end of the day?
The dashboard shows revenue, gross profit, number of sales, top products, low stock and overdue udhaar for the day, week or month. Gross profit uses the real cost of each stock batch sold, and the cash drawer shows expected against counted cash for every shift.
Which plan includes this?
Checkout, offline billing, barcode labels, receipts and the dashboard come with every plan. Udhaar, suppliers and purchasing, reorder suggestions and the cash drawer need the Business or Enterprise plan.
Questions
Questions shop owners ask
Will my existing barcode scanner work?
Most likely. TM POS works with standard USB barcode scanners that type the code like a keyboard, and it can also scan with a phone or laptop camera.
Can I sell the same product by piece and by carton?
Yes. A product can have several selling units, such as a single piece, a pack, a dozen or a carton, and each unit has its own price.
Can my cashiers use it in Urdu?
Yes. Every screen is available in English and Urdu, and each user picks their own language. Urdu screens are right-to-left.
How much does it cost?
Plans are billed monthly in Pakistani rupees, and each plan starts with a free trial. The current plans and what each includes are in the pricing section of the home page.
